Paloma Santiago
Vivacious, determined and hardworking, I build strong connections between individuals, corporations and communities. My professional experience in the media, nonprofit and business sectors, includes overseeing marketing, public relations, special event planning, relationship building and fundraising.
I was honored as Women of Impact through Impact of Southern Arizona and a finalist as Women of Influence for community service. I competed in Social Venture Partners’, “Fast Pitch”, winning the Grand Prize and People’s Choice awards along with cash prizes for the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona. Honored with the Community Champion Award through the National Women Business Owners Association, I also became a 40 under 40 recipient through the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Currently, I oversee San Miguel High School’s fund development and with my team have tripled our advancement revenue within the past five years. Along with maintaining a 55% annual donor retention rate, we have increased Arizona corporate tax credits and established our annual signature event for San Miguel.
My purpose and passion is in strengthening leadership skills in students who participate in the work/study program at San Miguel as well as our alumni. I work closely and collaboratively with all departments to ensure funding opportunities pursued match the strategic direction of the school as a whole.
