Nonprofits We Fund
SVP Tucson is dedicated to making our community more equitable, with opportunities for all. We invest in high-potential nonprofits in our areas of focus: early childhood education, workforce development, racial and gender justice, and those serving historically marginalized communities, and prioritize investments in organizations using a 2Generation approach. The organizations we support are on the frontline of solving society’s biggest challenges and need our support now, more than ever before.

2Gen Investments: SVP is building a collaboration of nonprofits that bridges the gap between the early childhood learning community and nonprofits focused on adult job attainment. The 2Generation (2Gen) Nonprofit Collaboration builds family well-being and economic prosperity for our community. The 2Gen Collaboration partners receive multi-year, capacity-building support, and are integrated into a collaboration of shared programming and referral network that supports both children and the adults in their lives to access new resources, solve problems and sharpen existing skills. Each agency offers meaningful programming to families and supports one or more aspects of 2Gen components which include: economic stability, physical and mental health, early childhood education, postsecondary and employment pathways, economic assets, K-12 education, and social capital. Current 2Gen Investments are being made in Boys to Men Tucson, Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, Interfaith Community Services, JobPath, Make Way for Books, Parent Aid, Tucson Jewish Free Loan, and YWCA of Southern Arizona.
