Nonprofits We Fund

SVP Tucson is dedicated to making our community more equitable, with opportunities for all. We invest in high-potential nonprofits in our areas of focus: early childhood education, workforce development, racial and gender justice, and those serving historically marginalized communities, and prioritize investments in organizations using a 2Generation approach. The organizations we support are on the frontline of solving society’s biggest challenges and need our support now, more than ever before.

  • 2Gen Investments: SVP is building a collaboration of nonprofits that bridges the gap between the early childhood learning community and nonprofits focused on adult job attainment. This 2Gen Collaboration provides a continuum of services for families with young children, providing the intervention and learning opportunities children need, along with the resources caregivers and parents need in order to stabilize their lives. Our 2Gen Investments include multi-year, unrestricted grant funding, organizational assessment and capacity building services to strengthen and scale impact, and infrastructure support for the Collaboration. Current 2Gen Investments are being made in Boys to Men Tucson, Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, Interfaith Community Services, JobPath, and Make Way for Books.

  • Fast Pitch is a tried and true method of cultivating donor relations and increasing nonprofit exposure, while training nonprofit leaders on how to pitch their organization’s mission, model, results, and their “ask.”
